A whole new life

So here it is July and I still haven't caught my breath this year. Just a quick synopsis:

  1. In January the main sewage line at the house had to be replaced to the tune of $9,000...at the same time I was setting up and manning a booth at the Mart to sell Canny Collars.

  2. In February my mother was diagnosed with Diabetes and Stage 4 Lung Cancer and started treatment.

  3. In June my dad died suddenly.

  4. I was fired (laid off) from a part time job I had been working for almost 20 years.

  5. Mom died a few days ago.

On so many levels, in so many ways, this year has prompted a rebirth. I have been neither graceful nor elegant as I move through this transition time. I have stumbled and groped through the whole thing. I am however, grateful for the countless opportunities. I am grateful for my clients who have been incredibly understanding, considerate and supportive! I am grateful to have the most amazing friends in the universe! And I am overwhelmingly grateful to be alive and have this opportunity to move forward unemcumbered by mistaken beliefs, inaccurate judgements and wounds from the past.

This is a dramatically new life and I'm both excited and a little scared, but certainly ready to begin again with vigor, this thing called life. I look forward to meeting it head on and with enthusiasm. Lighter, brighter and more powerful...I hope to see you along the way!
